I have a customer with a R11 basic mode system that was wanting some configuration changes. I thought before I would deploy, I would test those settings on my test system on the bench.
I have an R11 chassis with R11 in Essential Mode. I defaulted the system so that I could load their config in Basic Mode. The system comes up and I can login via Manager to the chassis and it is in Basic Mode, however, the phones (1416's) all say No License Available. What license is it looking for? If I add my R11 license back to the configuration, it does not change. If I convert the system back to Essential Mode, the phones are just fine. Must be missing a step here somewhere.

Best I know, Basic is still valid even in R11. I just can't seem to get it to operate correctly on my test unit.
