Am setting up a new IP500 and did a save config immediate. Now system is stuck in a loop doing a restart. I have tried doing a reset by holding the reset button but that doesnt seem to work. Is there another way of clearing all data back to default ?

Before you put your config on it, did you upgrade the firmware? IP500 ships with 4.0.0 which is a non functioning software release...
look in tech bulletin 80 on page 13. You might want to do that first, but if you hold the reset button for 30-40 seconds the CPU LED, will go red....release it and it will wipe it out.

You can also use the serial port and some AT commands to clear out the configuration. Be careful with them - it's possible to erase all of the software also.
