I had a customer send us an INT4000 for test and repair the other day. The phone would not sync up when testing on an Axxess cabinet. My customer told me it came off of a 3000 cabinet so I plugged it in to it and it worked. Does anyone here know of any difference as to why it would work on the 3000 and not the Axxess? We have repaired hundreds of these and never seen this scenario.

Axxess and 3000 are completely different systems; phones are not compatible.

I am completely aware of the differences in these 2 systems as we do the repairs for Mitel. I was just wondering if anyone has seen a cordless work on a 3000 and not on an Axxess. We always test and repair these on the Axxess.

I found out what was going on. The cordless phones I have are INT 1400's. Looks identical to the INT 4000.
