Hi, I program DSX, Sl1100 & 2100 the old school DS Nortel, Panasonic, Avaya and just about any legacy system on the plannet but Toshiba and Mitel also but haven't done much in IPK but have moved companies with them and did some simple button programming on them.

My problem is a tenant disabled the phones ringing. Ive tried 60 +1 then Volume up. JUst happened to be one thing whoever did to the system to make it not ring, they were all with no volume, but its not all they did. I built a dnd button, no luck none have been DND ed ( I know ,,.Gramer)I cant find in any of the manuals or maybe I'm not looking for the correct phrase what will make the station ring, They appear but do not ring. Please tell me how to make them appear and ring and if your going to give me some BS about calling a professional to do it please do not even comment as that is as of no help to me I have one on my living room floor to test with first

And to you who do help and I hope someone does, thank you in advance

Oh, b 4 we go all through that BS, If I initialise the system, will all the lines ring on all the phones by default, there is no fancy programming at this house, very basic, I guess I could try it with mine now but don't want to wipe a system already set up that way.

Never mind, I answered my own question, actually I cheated, I found a post where a retired guy actually got an answer besides call a professional

So NEC IPK Line ringing solved 01/01/RingDay
Port #/mode/

enter programming, hit line key 4 and enter 01 then make all the line keys you want to ring green by pushing them till they are green ( they have 3 modes, Green (Appear and ring, Red, Appear and delay ring, and Blank (no light) ) after they are green hit transfer and it will go to night mode, do the same thing, make the ones you want to ring green hit transfer again (transfer saves the data and goes up one in programming ) then hit star till the cursor is all the way to the left, enter the next port number and code for day ring so enter 02 then 01 it will say day again, start all over again hitting line keys till they are the color you want.

Thats what I did and it worked for me so now I can put my IPK back in the attic and go make some dough tomorrow because Im pretty sure this guy did that to make the phones not ring
