I have this one system that seems to be getting phantom sip calls.

Did 5.01 move the carrier exclusive setting somewhere else? It's not in 5.2.12 anymore.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it was moved.
Just search for it in dm.

Yeah, The search says it is in 5.2.12, and the documentation all says it's in the Sip Extension Configuration, but it's not there. The Comm Exclusive is still there, but not the carrier exclusive.

I'd have to reread the release notes, but I thought comm exclusive was the setting.

Comm is in the trunk settings,
Carrier was in the extension settings.

I've tried setting the cos contents and the port class to restrict that sip extension from intercom calls (and station groups and pretty much everything) but it still manages to call the other extension.

SMDR shows the calls as IC, I'm assuming that's intercom, it's not listed in the SMDR documents I have....

Is there a setting similar to direct IP calling that can be disabled maybe?

If the sip extension is dialling another extension then you could nuke the dial plan on the sip phone so it can't work other extensions.
I've never seen/heard of that setting for sip extensions.

It's not the device that is making the calls, it is a hack on the network that is spoofing the registration for the SIP extension. The device dialing plan is configured to only be able to make outgoing calls on a dedicated trunk.

Configure and enable the ip phone whitelist for that extension might work.
Change the password for the registration that way the rogue device can't spoof the registration
