CIX 40 cabinet keeps on shutting down #590742 06/30/15 11:57 AM

OP WTC Member Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 39 Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada	I have a cix 40 cabinet (2 months old) with the latest release software. It has an ip card in it to allow my customer to connect a ip phone that he has in his house with his office. This cabinet at random times will only show a display on the set with the time and date it shut down. None of the keys with work until you power down the cabinet and the battery backup, then power up the cabinet and everything works normally. The same problem was occurring with his older CIX 40 which I have replaced. This cabinet is not on the internet for remote programming so it has me puzzled. It has happened 3 times in the last 2 months.

Toshiba Bob Member Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 1,037 Stow, Ohio	Have you swapped out the IP card or the IPT? Which model of each are you using in the CIX40? Are the firmware up to date on both the IP card and IPT? What are you using for the LAN hardware? Do you have any digital sets? are they also having the same issue?

I have one customer that has a Strata Messenging as well as outside IP phones... so I cannot make them private. But I put a Zyxel router in bridge mode (see FYI for directions) and it works fine. Problem solved.
