When a customer noticed that they were not getting their voicemail via email, I just had to reenter the DNS info and the TVA50 would start sending emails again. NEW software V3.11 will not correct email issue after the DNS is dropped. I have to delete static IP and DNS, power down and reenter LAN and DNS info to correct issue. Am I the only one with this issue?? I have encountered this with two separate ISP's.

Use DHCP and have router give the same address each refresh.

will the router give the same IP address and DNS to the TVA, regardless of the number of devices that are active when the power returns??

What? How do you expect to administer the TVA if you can't get to it? Give it a static IP address outside the DHCP range and you don't have to worry about it, or make the router do it by the MAC address.

USB or Modem (that stinks) Tech support says this problem only occurs on TDA 50 with Lan card. 200 is built in and does not have this "timing issue". I can update the IP/DNS, but I still have to restart the TVA 50 after I update programming..
Not sure if making the router set same IP and DNS, by mac address will change that, but it is worth a try.
