I apologize if this has been covered before. Today I installed a two cabinet SBX and was packing everything up to leave. One of the employees came to me and said their phone beeps annoyingly when he's on the phone, when another call comes in. I walked over there to hear it for myself, and I did. It reminded me of a dialsys machine for sure (I just finished doing a dialysis clinic). Now, he was in the CO ring assignment list at the time. Since then, for other reasons, I have configured a Hunt Group instead. I stopped back there today and so far he says he has not heard the beep. But, call volume was also lower today, he stated.
-Is it assignable in any way? Don't hunt groups beep too?
-I could swear I have done systems that don't beep like that. Am I imagining things; do they all beep?

The XTS has a "second call" tone when the phone is busy. The same thing happens when more than one phone is programmed to ring. Hunt groups cue up and do not send a second call tone.
SBX behaves pretty much the same way.
