I have one endpoint that always says (on the digital dispaly) there is one voice mail and the light always blinks. I have deleted all new messages and all saved messages. If I check the statistics in DB studio it shows no new or saved voice mail on that extension.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

when the light is lit press the MSG key and look at the LCD. It will show you the source of the message. It could be an unassociated mb or possibly a station message.

That was it. Pressing the message light shown my extension as being the message. Took me a few button presses to cancel the message. I'll remember the 368 for next time.

Thank You again!

You can also just press the MSG key followed by the * key to cancel station-to-station messages.

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the station-to-station message function either system-wide or by station? This "feature" has been a point of confusion since day one on this Inter-tel system for my users. To this day, I still get people calling me saying that they cannot retrieve their voice mail, when in fact their msg light is lit from a station msg, and not vm. My response is always 368, but there must be a way to disable the "leave message" option when a station calls another station. I honestly see no practical use for this in our environment.
