Any of you selling the TransTel product I would like to say hello to and welcome you to the forum. I have been dealing with Transtel for 10 years and really like the product. I have been on this forum for 1 year and have made several good friends along with learning a wealth of information. Please take the time to look around and join us if you want. We've installed 3 of them this past summer (they work GREAT for hotel/motels).

The only real sticky point I've run into is maybe SMDR (And that was because the customer had a special system).

Can't this be mad a sticky...or even given its own thread?

I do not see the need to make it its own section, there is not enough activity on the board in regards to Transtel. I think that it could make a pretty good sticky....but then why not have a "welcome" sticky for other systems that have a even larger market penetration like Siemens, Alcatel, and others like Ericsson?

Actually, maybe that would be a fun idea, have several stickys in this section for well known systems that do not have a category of their own?

That might make sense Tampasteve...I have seen one Alcatel system...and it's the only one I've seen!

I just talked to TransTel about becoming a dealer for their Lodging system today. Price wise, this system seems VERY affordable.

From the looks of it though, it appears that the PMS will only work with Micro's.

We have sold 5 of them in the past 2 years. Like Jordon said they are great for the hotel motel situation. That is why we started selling them. It's great to know you have such a long history with them Metelcom. And the people there are very easy to work with. I wish we did more of them so I was more familiar with all they can do. But that will come with time.

Thought I would give this a bump and welcome any new TransTel dealers or users to the site.
