Ok, Have a fax machine on an MP5 with Pri that uses an analog port to send faxes. Seems that when sending a fax that is more than 2-3 pages it will stop sending after the 2nd page. Any ideas why this hapening? Incoming faxes are working just fine as well as 1-2 page faxes being sent.

Thanks.

Yeah, there is an error though they do not know what it means.

Canon Laser Class 710
Error: NG ##0283

Hopefully the people who handle the fax machine can tell me what that means and i can go from there.

Never, ever try to use an MP5 to send a fax. All the empty 9MM cartridges get in the way! smile John C. (Not Garand)

yeah...it seems to be that way. Thier fax tech came out and determined that it was "line noise". We went out and installed a line conditioner and we got no more of those errors.

Now however, it is giving different errors about busy and no signal. We are going to run a new cable to the location, and move the port, and also have the carrier install 1 copper line off the pri to analog to see if that will clear it.

its so wierd that inbound faxes are perfectly fine but the outbound are giving us fits. Such is life i guess smile
