I have configure the PRT1 to NET and used BLOCK to assign the last two channels to PRT1. Still oes not want to kick in. any ideas?????

Don't know if this will help. It has on line user manuals for Paradyne CSU/DSU.

I agree, make sure you have the last two channels configured right.

I have done that, I have set the PRT1 to NET and configured the last two channels to Data. I have used two different DSU's. I can't believe there both bad. I must be missing a setting from the Adtran.

What about the port rate on the channels? clocking? Did you change the LED indicators to display Data? It might tell you what you are getting for errors. Also, the cable that comes from the Data port is a propiatary cable, so you might want to check and make sure you have the right one.
