Anyone help with this one?Have a voicemail that uses a compact flash card and I would like to replace it with a larger one.The voicemail card is Dos based so do I need to format the new card with a dos format and if yes how would I go about that?I tried a format under windows 98 and copied the files over to the new card but I get a non system disk error when the voicemail starts the boot up.

I'm not sure if this will work on a smartmedia, but I do know that on a floppy or hard disk you can make it bootable by transferring the sys files over from a working bootable disk. For example, if I was at the c: prompt I can type "sys a:" to transfer the sys files from the c: drive to the floppy disk. See if you can do that with a smartmedia. By the way, you may have to use the same DOS that the Samsung is using, like DOS 6.22 for example. That's because you cannot transfer the sys files from Windows to a DOS 6.22 disk. You can go to www.bootdisk.com to get DOS boot disks.
