Hello,
I'm new to doing sys admin on a NEAX 2000 IPS. I use Matworx v7 for administration. There is a PRI connected to this system. Most existing extensions making outbound calls on the PRI have no issues with ANI. Any newer extensions in the same DID range as the extensions that work and was created by the previous admin person and myself does not correctly show its ANI. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Thanks in advance.

Outbound CID over PRI is set in cm1212, 1213 & 5005. Hope this helps.

You can set ANI to show for the extension, or for all outbound calls. I believe that it can be set per phone.
I've played around with it sometimes to make it appear that my phone number is (202) 555-1414 (The white house) as a prank.

in 1212 for each ext allocate the ext number to send eg if the ext number is 202 , use 1212>202:202
in 1213 allocate a prefix group number 00~15 eg for 202 , use 1213>202:00
in 5005 allocate the leading part of the number for that group
eg if the full number is 0881228202 , 5005>00:881228 This is how we do it in australia. You can send any number as long as it is part of the indial range ( the number range that belongs to the link).eg to send ext 204 from 202 , change 1212>202:204..... hope this helps
