I have CIX-100 with mostly DKT3000's. I can page all the phones.

I recently installed a sound system (a Speco PMM-120A PA amplifier)

The amplifier has a 600 ohm telephone paging input (with 3 lines; 'G,' 'Com,' and 'Hot').

The amp also has 'input level' and 'VOX Sens' adjustment dials.

Great! Now I should be able to broadcast the CIX page output over the loud speakers.

WIRED CONNECTION....
I connected the CIX-100, 600 ohm page output to the amplifier telephone paging input 'Com' and 'Hot' inputs.

LEVEL SETTINGS....
On the CIX I turned the page output trimpot all the way clockwise.
On the amp, I set the input level and VOX Sens to mid range.

I am playing background music on the PA, when I 'page all,' the music keeps on playing and I only hear the page from the telephone speakers.

so, what am I missing?
is there perhaps a setting for the CIX to enable the page output?
does the page output need to be added to the page all group with eManager?

Yes the Page Port needs to be assigned before it will work

You need to go into program 503 which is under ADVANCED->EXTERNAL DEVICES->PAGING DEVICES. The built in page output is relay#5. You want to select FB17(ALL CALL) and submit.
