I am looking for eMagine version 10.2. Our hard drive died and I have nothing to load my backup files to.
I understand that I can't restore by bu files to 10.3 or later. This is why I need 10.2 Ultimately, I want to upgrade to the latest, but I am trying to avoid redoing all my greetings at this time. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You know you are going to have to find SuSE Linux 7.1 just to start this project. I have looked thru everything I have but it's all just service packs. All of the original installs were done at Telrad before they shipped them out.

I can tell you right now it's not available because this happen to me already. Just get the 10.3 for the repair dept and reprogram.
Teledata worked with me on upgrading the back-up of 10.2 to 10.3 formats but couldn't get it to work. Wasted hours, when I could have re-programmed it in a shorter amount of time.
You can use the 10.3 in the 10.2 PC.

Well I tried I have 2 EmaGen voicemails in stock both from 2004, one of them had never been booted so I knew it was still a 10.2 the other had been installed for a customer while theirs was being repaired. So here is the bad news, for both of us. The unit that was installed has been upgraded to 10.3, the brand new never been opened 6 year old 10.2 EmaGen wont boot up. :bang: I think the hard drive is bad. So I guess I will take my advice to you from the phone call the other day and use the MAC to get the discount from T3 on a new Mini with 10.5

It is not a bad deal... We are all setup now, but having to redo all the greetings is a bummer. I understand you can load .wav files provided the format is correct (22k, 16 bit, mono)??
Not sure how to go about that though. Haven't found anything in the forums...

You have been without voicemail for a month? Man your boss must be a saint. If any of my customers are out of service for more than a day I never hear the end of it.
So what did you go with? I bet whatever it was you remember to do the backup now :thumb:

We were only down for a few days. The greetings have been recorded internally which we don't want long term.
We did the T3 upgrade, Dell pc and v10.5. There are some nice enhancements.
We had a backup. However, is was 10.2. I have been told that 10.2 backups won't restore on a 10.3 or later system. When I look at the backup we have and the new backup files they have the same GREET.ENG files in the mailboxes... I am so tempted to move the old ones over to a new backup file and restore it to see what happens. The potential consequences concern me though.
I still can't find any instructions or prompts in he system to load .wav files either.
