Don't know of a PDF AppGen book. What are you trying to do?

Just installed Imagen 7.04d on a digital 400. Everything is working great...except...when an external caller is transferred to a user mailbox, once the greeting begins to play the caller cannot exit back to the menu or anything else other than leave a message. Hitting any key goes directly to "the beep". We had this functinality with our Emagen ( which has passed away). I understand the AppGen will allow me to assign digits to certain functions.

Look in Voicemail Programing, Auto Attendant Parameters and change the option for Record to enable Camp on for Day, Night No answer and Busy. There's four options listed there. It's probably set to Record.

I have to ask what is the software level of the system? And if you had a emaGen you had to have a license why not just rebuild it? The feature set is way beyond what ImaGen had to offer.

The Imagen is 7.04d. The Emagen motherboard/daughterboard failed. I understand that the license is tied to the integrated NIC. I got a great deal on the Imagen which should be sufficient for our needs if I can solve this.

In the ImaGen look in the APG folder and see if you see anything other than a default.apg or .gdb

I removed the .apg that we had created, and restarted the Imagen. Same result. This problem is happening on calls that have been transferred to a mailbox, either by a person or via the auto attendant, DBN, or calling the mailbox internally.
Calling the DID directly and hitting the VM works, you can hit * for the menu, hit 0 for operator, etc. So clearly it CAN work.
I'm completely baffled.

I know, Look in the mailbox settings. Im not sure what to hit, But goto System directory numbers and then that mailbox. Hit F-3. Than there s another option for day no answer night no answer, and so on. You must have it set to record.
As far as I know there is no settings in AppGen to change a malbox. It's really used for Sub menu's and other options.
I'll get a IVM up and tell you exacly where to look if you don't find it. Give me an hour.
