Has anyone heard of this one? New TDA100 install with PRI using the DID's. When useer is on the phone there is no call waiting tone or display, only a flashing light. Automatic call waiting is turned on by programming and I also checked *7311 and *7321. I reinitalized the programming and reprogramed but it still is not working. I have never seen this before and programming is the same as past installs.
I am going to try tech support in the morning but thought I would give it a try here first.

Thanks for the input.

Stephanie

I can't say I've seen this. How are additional calls getting to the phone? Are you using GDN, G-CO, PDN, or S-CO buttons?

Thanks Kevin,
Using a combination of G-CO'S (4) and G-DN for another company. The problem also exists when I had S-CO keys as well. Going to give Panasonic a call this morning, but I am starting to think there is an issue with the software. I will update once I know.
Thanks again and have a good day smile

Hi to enable the tone and display, you need to set manual call waiting for extension under option 2 in extension settings and set it to your preferred setting, I tend to use W-OHCA, so the custimer is not to interupted on their call. Hope this helps.

Problem solved. After 2 hours listening to the same piano solo song with Panasonic, it turned out I have no problem. If I pick up a phone and call the DID number for that phone it only flashes (no ring), but, if I busy out a phone and call the DID from another phone it works as it should. Not sure why it is this way but works and that is all I care about.
Thanks for the input (nice hearing about options from other techs). Always try and learn new things about the system and today was one smile

Thanks again.

S
