After pressing feature 811 the customer phones do not show caller id they show "no calls". There is not hunt group. Phones are set R&A on three lines.

Any thoughts? feel free to pm me if your not comfortable posting in the open forum.

If I recall correctly, on the phones that are not programmed to show it, it only shows on the fone that answers, AND Feat811 has to be pressed 1st, for each call. And review is not available. But,I've been wrong before. Especially on later software. frown John C. (Not Garand)

F81 will only work if the ext was programmed to receive caller ID and the phone has to ring.

There are several areas in Installer programming that has to be programmed.

Call log (F812)as well has to be programmed for each extension that wants or need it.

F811 shows the info while the call is ringing in (and meets the conditions that Dave outlined). F812 allows you to review the info that has logged into the phone.

If F811 reports no call it means the call has been answered. F811 information is available only while the line is ringing. The only condition is that the line is set to receive CLID info.
