This is a weird one, have a caller ID unit hooked up to the COL card for 5 lines. When first installed worked fine, after a few months it started to work sporadically, I figured it was the ID unit as they are famous for going out. Well the new one does the same thing and the old one works fine at a different site.I can take a normal caller ID box to the d-mark and it works fine but when I take it to the system breakout and it does the same thing as the Telrad ID unit. I'm thinking of running a couple of cat5e cables to replace the old house cable. Just wondering if you have ever had a situation like this.

I have had this happen before but found a power issue. System was on UPS but CID box wasnt. Also maybe RS232 connector on COL card I switched it out also. This was in my office so plenty of spare cards.
