I am told this phone is designed to work with the newer KX-TA series of phone systems which include the KX-TA624-4 "dash four" and KX-TA624-5 "dash five" telephone system, as well as the KX-TA824, KX-TA1232-2 and KX-TAW848 telephone systems.
A. Is this true? and
B. How do you tell if you have a "dash four" or "five" system?
Is there a series of keystrokes that the client can do on their phone to bring up the version?
