I have several BCM50 units that I am trying to verify the configurations on and I am having a blast trying to get into them. I have gotten to welcome to BCM50 but when I try and launch Element Manager, it states use Application Launcher. I have no clue what that is but when I put this info in a browser (192.168.1.2/apps/public/EM-62.0.3.zip) and it states the following "Not Found

The requested URL /apps/public/EM-62.0.3.zip was not found on this server." if I remove everything but the IP address, I get to the BCM welcome screen but then it ask me for the Application Launcher when I try and go into Element Manager.
Is there an easier way to tell what the configurations are on these things?
Any help is greatly appreciate!
thx

You can try to log in via telephone handset using Feature **CONFIG. If you don't know the password you can post a request for permission to the Installers Category here: https://atcomsystems.ca/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/18711

Once inside the installers forum you can ask for the password.

I can log in via a telephone but is there a place to see the Configuration of the System?
Let me look around in it a little bit more.
thx

You can see almost the entire configuration of the phone system & voicemail through Telset programming. Is there something specific you're after?

I'm sorry but I wasn't thorough enough on what I was looking for. I have no experience with Nortel BCM Switches and I acquired about 15 of them, so I was trying to see what Features were enabled on each one of them because from my limited understanding, they come in various configurations. I just want to label what's in each one for my on knowledge.
thx

Ok, so to document it all properly since you have so many...

System version:

With BEM then go to Configuration/System/Identification
Drag your mouse over the System Software Version number
Ctrl C to copy (Right click method does not work on BEM)
Paste it in Word

Add (acquire) the Release number with the System Software Version
If the system software version starts with:
1.x - then its Rls 1
2.x - then its Rls 2
6.x - then its Rls 3
9.x - then its Rls 5
10.x - then its Rls6

Example:
10.0.2.52.258 = Rls 6

System ID:
With BEM then go to Configuration/System/Keycodes
Drag mouse across the System ID
Ctrl C to copy
Paste it in Word

System Keycodes:

With BEM then go to Configuration/System/Keycodes
Click on the first code on the list
Hold the Shift key
Scroll down and click the last one
Ctrl C to copy
Paste it in Word

Patches:

With BEM then go to Administration/SoftwareManagement/Software Update History
Drag the first 4 columns so they are totally viewable
Press & hold Windows Key, Shift & S all together until screen darkens
Drag your mouse over the section to the right (ignore the bottom section)
Paste it in Word

Now you will have the important required info for re-sale:

-System Software Version with Release #
-Keycodes activated
-Software Patches installed

It should all fit on one page.
Keep you screen shots tight

If need you can also:
Adjust the font size down to 8
Adjust the Margin size to Narrow.
Drag the the screen shot smaller
