anybody have any ideas or work arounds for setting up some type of holiday schedule on the SBX? customers dont like rerecording the greeting every holiday
It is a very simple voice mail. The next release may have a temp greeting option.
Funny thing about Holiday greetings. When I have had the opportunity to monitor VM activity following a holiday, I find almost zero call activity. I have decided that holiday greetings are just one of those warm fuzzzies that customers feel they need.
Why not program an unused Ring Mode (like On-Demand) and let the customer change the appropriate CCR recording?
However, I'm with Dave, it is rarely worth the trouble.
used on-demand and they love it. they are so happy they dont have to keep recording the day and night greetings when the holidays come
