Just received 10 rolls of Commscope F6TSVV PR 1891, commscope product code 7423603 from the local cable provider for a project. My question is this: what is this cable listed as in regards to rating, like CM, CMR, etc.? I have the product sheet on it from Commscope, it does not say, just braid type, db loss, etc. It is listed as "drop cable" and the rep at Commscope said it's for in house use. Is this cable suitable for a riser installation? Any help would be appreciated. tia

Based on their website it's a general use cable and isn't riser rated.

What Skip says. If it doesn't have a rating on the jacket, then you'll fail an inspection, should there be one.

Sorry it's taken a few days to get back here. The jacket doesn't say what cable type it is, just numbers. I've called SuddenLink, the company that provided the 10 reels, to get some riser rated cable. I'm not about to install almost two miles of coax cable unless it's the correct type for the application. thanks all
