Hello, been while but my 7200 VM to Email stopped working after the SMTP server I was using is no longer working. I have never used an external smtp so I was trying to use 365 and I cannot get it to deliver. Oddly the User logs show as delivered but it never arrives. Anyone used 365 as an SMTP? If not can someone recommend a new method that works around email security of the day. If you are using 365 can you tell me what settings?
Thanks in advance.
Samsung does not comply with current security standards for encryption so natively won't be able to use 365.
If your IT folks are very talented you can see if they can create a relay that you can use. I have yet to be able to convince someone to do it.
Here is a link to the MS article:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/e...-email-using-microsoft-365-or-office-365There are a couple youtube videos too, but I haven't tried them yet.
Thank you for the response. Do you recommend an SMTP service that would work? One that is tried and tested?
Where I am, the local coax internet provider allows un-encrypted but authenticated smtp connections from it's business subscribers so that's what I use primarily. I haven't tried any 3rd party services.

Was able to get 365 working as Samsung SMTP Relay. Hit me up and if anyone is interested in how.
I believe there is a workaround via 365...
It's almost easier to setup a small smtp relay in house and use a 365 account to send out those vmail to emails.
I use HMAILServer on a windows 10 PC.
@kevinoffsite
Can you fire me over the how to for setting up the relay please? The IT folks I'm working with keep telling me it can't work.
Thanks!!
