Having an issue forwarding ext to external number
Seems to work, then get a fast busy
ICM to external is turned on
Been through the programming till my eyes gloss over.


I have other similar systems where this feature works fine

Anyone have a thought on this issue ?

Have you tried putting a buttset on the line while trying it?To me it's easier to hear what's happening

In the past I've usually had to set delay time for external forward (2.5.4) to 1 or 2 seconds, then fill in the blanks in section 5 station forwarding with forwarding set to all, with a trunk group access and the phone number to dial.

If the phone is in a group (single phone in the group or multiple phones in the group) it won't forward. Typically I just have the line ring to a VSLI that is all forward to an external number. Make sure the linie access number and external number are in the same column as the All Forward. External delay time 2.5.4 set to 1 second for the extension that is doing the forwarding.
