OK, so there I was, getting back into the business after being gone for several years, when I inherited this system. Admin password unknown, so I did a factory reset which did wipe out all programming and set the IP back to default, but apparently didn't reset the password. Any suggestions?
I don't suppose you want to start with 0000 and work your way to 9999?
I will see what I can locate, but Officeserve isn't in my bag of tricks.
Depending on the version of software will depend on which reset procedure you need to use.
The MMC800 (keyset programming) password will have been defaulted.
Also depending on the version of software depends on what the default password is.
@junkman
If you need a dealer to assist you with this, we are available. We are out of McAlester. What is it that you're trying to do?
I used ye olde hold the rst button at poweron to reset it. Can't get into keyset programming, when I hit the transfer button it says no trunks assigned (or something like that). I have the installation tool software, but none of the default passwords I've found will work. I know how to do all of the programming if I can just get into the system.
What kind of phone are you trying to program from?It doesn't make sense that a Transfer button says that.
Like nameless said if you did a default then the kcmmc password should be defaulted.
All phones are iDCS 28D, when I hit transfer it says "incorrect use".
Then it's not a transfer button. Where on the phone is it?By default a transfer button is key 24
You are pressing the transfer button with the handset down I hope it seems to me you have it off hook
What kind of idiot moves a common default button? Keyset programming solved, but I still can't get into it with software. Any suggestions?
Do you have actual Installation Tool or Device Manager? Do you happen to know the s/w version of the system? Also what error are you getting when trying to logon with PC?
I have the samsung installation tool software, version 1.46, I think the system version is 4.70. I get either "user id error" or "response code 0x1c.
PM me your email address or google it
Found OSDM v5.01, still no luck on the password.
