Hi, we seem to have an ongoing issue with sonicwalls and MGI ports not clearing down. Over a period of a few months they become locked up, connection status will show the mgis connected to the sip trunk port numbers but no calls exist. SIP trunks are setup using 833 peering.

It seems to affect all sites running sonicwalls of different varieties all all versions of the OAS and 4.70> software

Has anyone else come across this issue?

Samsung UK are unaware of it?

I've been using SonicWalls and have not run into this issue yet. In the firewall settings what is your udp timeout setting set at? I have ours set to 700. Is this happening particularly after having placed or received a call? Does it just happen randomly? Also, I would try upgrading software to 4.99.
Thanks i'll give the UDP timeout a go. We've tried on 5.01 and the latest OAS version and still have it occur. It happens over a period of a few months usually, 1 by 1 the MGIs stop clearing down completely at random. A reboot of the OAS will sort it until it happens again.
Revert the s/w back to 4.99.... Samsung tech support was only using 5.01 to convert from os to scm... They said otherwise it's a bust s/w a lot of strange things happening with it. I have had to roll back several systems myself cause of it.
