Does anyone happen to know if you can remotely update the auto-attendant greeting on this system? There doesn't appear to be a way, but thought I'd double check. Thanks for any info you can share.
What kind of auto attendant is it?
??? After hours and during the day if no one answers the phone in time. Is that what you mean?
No I mean is it a auto attendant card in the DCS,is it a Cadence or an Svmi Voicemail Auto Attendant , 3rd party system ie what model is it
I'm sorry, but I have no idea. We provide the MOH service. Last week they asked if we could record their auto-attendant greeting. They inherited the system with the business when they bought it 10+ yrs ago and they don't really know anything about it. I thought I'd throw the question out there to see if anyone might have an answer. I thought ProStar DCS was the model, but apparently not. Thanks for trying to help though!
Prostar DCS is the phone system but as you can tell it can have a Samsung or non Samsung Auto Attendant so without a model ,sorry but I can't help you out.
Thanks for trying! If I'm able to get more info from the client, I'll pass it on.
If you take the cover off the cabinet, you will see labeled cards.
DLi is 8 extensions, TRK B is 3 dial tones, TRK C1 is 8 dial tones, etc. A voicemail card would most often be the last used card, to the left of the ROM card with the flashing light.
Copy down the card list and post it, that will tell us how the system is equipped. Two screws at the bottom hold the cover on.
Anyone know what value the capacitors are that go on the Samsung DCS816 PSU?
I believe you should be able to do it as a system administrator. Call the voicemail and when you get the main message press #0000 and then admin password. There should be an option to edit greetings. I think preset is 1001 for day or main message. You can re-record that way.
If you can get in like you just said press 1 and it will say what greeting number you want eg 1001 you can listen to make sure its correct message if it is delete message and record reason you delete it because your new message might be shorter than your old message and could end up with part of the old message if your satisfied with your new message press # to save it
