Hi guys,

Yesterday I installed Desktop Suite for SV9100 on different computers and something strange happens. The software it's working well but on BLF Tab I didn’t manage to present both the extension and the name on the BLF. It is present only the extension number without the name.

When a call is made to another extension the extensions name is presented on the right hand side. This means the UC Desktop Suite software is recognising the name from the system but not presenting it on the extension icon.
I tried to modify different parameters in Desktop Suite but the names are not present.
As you can see in this image on BLF it's present the extension number and the name. On my Desktop suite for SV9100 it's present only the extension number without the name.

It's someone here, who can help me please ?

Thanks!

First are you using a server? Also there are settings in preferences to get both name and number.

Hi
I am not using a server, I just populated MB 20-57-01, 20-57-02, 20-57-03, 20-57-04 and 20-59-01, 20-59-02 and:
20-59-03: Enable
20-59-04: Enable
20-59-05: Extension number
20-59-07: Enable
20-59-08: Enable
20-59-09: Enable
20-59-10: Enable
20-59-11: Disable
20-59-12: Disable
20-59-13: Enable
20-59-14: Desktset
20-59-15: Desktset
20-59-16: Enable
20-59-17: Disable
20-59-18: Enable
20-59-19: Disable
20-59-20: Disable

In settings of Desktop suite I set up in preference to get both name and number.

My Desktop Suite it's working fine but I have only this issue.

Thanks for reply!

Pretty sure you have to be running a server with the ucserver services to get those features. Doesn't take much.

"The UC Suite can be installed in two different configurations, either UC Client or UC Client with a connection to the UC Server.
3.1 UC Client Each PC with the UC Client has its own connection to the SV9100. The UC Client communicates to the SV9100 via the LAN on the TCP port defined for the 1st-Party CTI connection in Program 10-20-01, although a 1st Party CTI license is not required for the UC Client. The 1st-Party CTI connection is device 9 in 10-20-01 and the recommended port is 8282."

According with the manual need to work if I am connected in the system. In the login window if I put 1st Party CTI port 8282 or CTI Server port 8181 the system is restarting, so I used port 80 and works well but with this issue.

Thanks! Any comments ?

Well let me know if you get it to work. Until then I'll continue putting my little service boxes in and have it work and have the Web UC.

Another side note for UC Global (non server) is that presence port in PRG 10.20.15 is 8383.

I have been doing some tech training on UC over the past few weeks and would not recommend the non server version as there are too many quirks in the way it works.. hav't had any problems though with names being pulled from the PRG 15.01.01 name field.

Thanks for all the answers!

We installed the server application on server computer, linked with the system and now works well.

10-69-xx needs to be programmed.

10-69-01 = enable
10-69-02 = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - the IP where you installed the server application
10-69-03 = leave as default
10-69-04 = 8888

20-59-13 = enable for all clients required, disable if not required.

Thanks again for all the suggestion!
