I have a client with a Strata DK-16 that I know is at least 10 years old
Will this pass CID ?
Do I need a card or is it just to old?
The sticker reads: V1B B18785
there is also a small stick with C6
Thanks, MrG

if you want caller id you TCIU card My only wonder is i do not remember having caller id on any 16's I ever installed. I know it can go on a DK 40 i have done mank of them. I will go out to the van and pull the book in a little while.

I looked in the book and didn't see any reference to Caller ID. Also, I fired up a DK16 and there is no programming for a RCIU/RCIS or Caller ID.

Looks like your customer will have to upgrade to at least a DK40.

DK-16 will not pass caller ID

Thank you all!
I doubt if he'll upgrade as he only has 2 lines and 3 phones. Very small office.
The only actual requirements they need are to make and receive calls.

With only 2 lines, he can get a 2-line caller ID device from Radio Shack, and wire it ahead of the system.

Voyager,
You are correct, Mr Gemini, sorry but it is what it is....

You would need at least a DK16e for cid. TCOU and TCIU are the required cards.
