As many of you know, Avaya has stopped printing brochures, but makes a file available to take to a local printer (I hope I understand things right).

Instead of taking the file to a local printer and being charged $2-3 per piece because I only need a few hundred, I am wondering if any one out there printed a large amount (for a lower price per unit) and has a few hundred they want to sell.

Private message me if you have printed more than you need and want to sell some.

I wish you luck. I asked a platinum dealer that same question and they just print them out on their printer as they need them.

I wouldn't go too crazy with this- seems when the pinheads converted the file to a .pdf they chose the smallest file/minimal quality option. Consequently the images suck and are an embarassment to show your customers.

I went so far as to bring the file into Illustrator (they did something right- they didn't lock them), formatted the brochure into tabloid size, printed front and back and folded in half then created a single page insert, also printed front and back. I replaced some of the images but the one on the front and some others are simply not available. They also flattened the layers so one would really almost have to start from scratch. Can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

Maybe we could trade a few dozen brochures for a Cash Cow book.

Sorry, I only had 25 printed up because they are a lot more than $3 each. There is also a phone and a VM brochure. I could go broke over what it costs to have them printed. I don't hand them out unless the customer is serious.

Jdavidcomm (and anyone else)
Please email your fax number to me at [email protected]

I will have my office fax you the order form. It gives them something to do.
