Is the backup just in case, or do you always have to restore after initializing the processor? That's one thing I have not done on this system.

When you initialize the processor, it will automatically restore the database if it finds the backed up database on the SM/SD card.
So make sure you back up the database before you initialize.

Thanks for all the responses on this thread. I think I might just have to call somebody. 910 Data Backup fails with a progress of: -1 data blocks of -1
I have been avoiding that because I am ready to remove this PBX from our environment. All we need is to purchase some new IP Phones and I can yank it. Just don't have the budget yet.
It's sole purpose right now is to support our Toshiba phones. The 670 is connected to an Asterisk server via T1 crossover and the Asterisk server is connected to telco. Which makes me very curious how this could have been damaged by the lightning in the first place, but that is the exact it stopped working.
