I am having problems setting up an external voip extension. The bria app works successfully internally, but externally it will register but no audio either way.
The system is assigned a external static ip, and it says port 5060 is closed. However, port 80, and 8000 are open. I don't know why it's saying port 5060 is closed. Any help?

Ports 80 and 8000 are not used for VoIP.
Look at the VoIP settings in the system, it's right there on what ports need to be open in the customers firewall.

5060 is your SIP UDP port for voice - if you don't have your UDP and RTP ports set properly, you will not pass any voice traffic - 8000 is a maintenance port - check your System VoIP settings and adjust your router accordingly.

I guess I didn't explain myself well. I know 5060 is the sip signaling port, as well 1215 udp for voice, that is what's programmed in the nec.
For whatever reason ports 5060 and 1215 range will not open in my router. I've been through everything, and I was thinking maybe I'm missing something on the nexdsx.
