Yes, tech support has promised me some more eproms. But I was told 4.22 would fix the problem and than 4.23 would fix the problem, so how confident can I be with 4.24.

Hi all, we have experienced the same problem of sleepy extns as outlined above. It started a couple of years ago on an ipx500 running 14.66.24. Since then we have had 4 or 5 other sites (all hotels & all ipx500) with the same issue. Very difficult at first to get recognition from Tadiran of the problem, but received 4.23 software for SLS cards during the summer & still in the process of replacing. Because of the nature of the sites its difficult to get feed back about whether the upgrade has sorted the problem.
A more worrying problem we encountered with the iPX500's was analog stations ringing continuously (no cadence). When you go off hook ringing continues through handset. When you replace handset, ringing continues. The only way to stop this is by resetting the SLS card. This has occured on a number of sites but is quite rare. Tadiran have asked us to to upgrade the SLS eproms to 4.23 which was developed to resolve the matter.
Be good to hear from anyone with similar issues!

Slán

As for continuously ringing SLT phones, I saw this rare problem on ipx500 too. In my case the way to stop ringing was to call this phone from the other one (usually I did it from keyset). The ringing stopped without restarting the whole card.

The new eproms have been installed. But wait, we are now at 4.27. Let's wait and see.
