When you mentioned a direct connection, are you referring to a serial connection, or a network connection?

Double-check your customer profile settings to be sure you're not trying to connect to a VS-VML, which is the baby brother to the card you have. Also, since you actually use the statistics cache info on a regular basis, be sure the box for deleting the statistics cache is unchecked in the customer profile dialog. This will force a re-initialization of the cache whenever you connect to the voicemail card.

I am connected directly from the voicemail card to the back of our server. I realized after reading your question that changing the connection type must have been coincidental to it working.

I connected a laptop directly to the cable and thought my problem was solved. I retrieved the data for 16 separate days but then got the "None found" message, even when I tried to retrieve data for a day I just retrieved successfully.

I created a new profile and tried it again, this time retrieving data for the Details tab rather than the Port Usage tab. It hasn't failed yet today.

The box is unchecked for the statistics cache. I had never enabled it. Will let you guys know if I define the exact cause. Apologize for not responding in a timely manner - have a family member recently diagnosed with cancer - haven't been all here.

No further problem getting the data using the VMI on the laptop and the laptop connection. The VMI app on the other computer must have been corrupted.

That's a possibility. The VMI programmer has historically been a little, shall we say, peckish?
