We have a hall of shame forum on this site and I would like to see a Hall of Fame forum.

I want to thank a few people that have done work for me via this site. I think it is important to give credit where credit is do. I also think a "Hall of Fame" forum will allow us members know who the good guys are.

KenB from NY in my backyard.....Sorry Ken Just did not have the name of your company on the tip of my tongue.......I have used Ken for many years and at one time bought equipment from him when he had that gig going on....
Ken is truely a great guy and has been their for me whenever I need him....He is honest and very fair with his pricing........He goes the extra mile for you.........

So if you need a guy in Va or La or Long Island NY........these are the guys.......

We could start a thread in the General forum and make it a sticky (keep it at the top)

Sticky seems like the best way to go for now. Why not try it? As much as I am in favor of a "Hall of Fame" category, I think it might get to be a bit much, as in over-gratification. "Thank you......No thank you......Oh, thank you", you get my point. We all like to help each other and our customers out.

I love the idea, but am not sure as to how to do it. Maybe a temporary sticky to see what happens?

I agree with Walter as to the help provided by these folks and others. This is a great place, thanks for letting people know they are appreciated Walter. Maybe you could move this one to general and make it a sticky Tom to see how it works out. I'm not sure I'm really for it cause we have so many good people, but those mentioned do stand out from the crowd.

Thanks for the kind words, Walter, it is very much appreciated. We, here at Vertex, believe that when you give good service to anybody whether it be an end user or another contractor; that is the best advertisement you can provide for yourself and your company. As most of you out there know that there is alot of work that is given by refferal and with that said I think the "Hall of Fame" idea is a good one in whatever capacity it is put into place.

Lets not forget WalterV himself.
He helped me with a local non profit over the phone and couldnt have done it without him.

He is a stand up guy and deserves to be a member of the Hall of Fame.

Also, I like to make money but what I really love (other than sex and boats) is to help out my fellow techs and owners....

Its a great feeling when you help someone....Seems to make all the crap we deal with worthwhile.........

I forgot who started that forum on the yellow pages but could not agree more that being in the yellow pages is like peeing in the wind.....Do you think they call it the yellow pages for that reason? :}
