Rickman - Could you please send me the same? I am working at a small firm and no one seems to have any idea how the phones work. I see a headset button on the phone and would love to plug in so I could gesticulate with both hands when I talk.
Thanks,
Paul

When You Press the Headset Button, do you see The Intercom Number show in the Display? Just like you had Picked up the Handset?

Hi guys -- same question again, same issue. Using NEC Dterm80 and need to activate a headset.

I have found some manuals, but nothing specifically for the NEC Dterm80. Can't work out the Feature key, doesn't function as any of the manuals suggest. Only things that do anything are:
Feature 1: turn mic on/off
Feature 3: Version info and MAC address
Feature 0: General Purpose Relay

Seems a common problem, I have the same one. How do you activate the headset jack on the DTerm 80. The system is an Electra Elite (both NEC).

Thanks,
Dave

You need to program a headset button onto the phone.

Thanks Scott,

Now if only I knew how to program the button (I have one free, but the system was setup by a third party and no one here has the manuals for it. I'll have to wait the the third party to come in.)
