Ok I have been fighting this one for over a year.

This happens to all extensions intermittantly usually not at the same time.

Scenario:
Someone is on a call and they can hear someone else's call(both CO and intercom).

Actions taken:
Digital filter units put on Stations (NEC provided)
Verified ground.
Removed ground
Grounded Station cables
Replaced all CO cards to new version
Replaced cabinet to new style
REPLACED processor from V2 to V6.XX.
Filtered the CO lines (was before we noticed the intercom Xtalk)
Replaced station cards.
Moved extensions 308 and 310 to different parts of the cabinet( avoid talk path problems) They notice it the most since they are on the most.

TEch support and Field Engineering are at a loss.

Any suggestions would be great.

Hmmm. Of the things I can think of are:

Is the phone system near any equipment that may be emitting rf energy. Possibly upstairs/downstairs or on the other side of a wall? Or near radio/tv transmission towers? Possibly shielded wires may be needed.

Are all the wires going the phones home runs? Not going through house pairs through an RJ66. (similar to an old 1a2 key system that had wires spread out like an octopus)

Is is possible a wire dropped into the cabinet? Maybe touching some connections on the back plane board or any of the inserted cards.

Tip and ring, the work of the devil!

No I doubt there is a short in the cabinet, I replaced already, also there ar no sources of RF or EMF nearby. Alll runs are home run IW but I did take the liberty of grounding a pair on 2 of the phones that are the most troublesome. Made no difference.

Here is something interesting too, 311 was on a call and a second call got transferred to her VM. Upon playing the message not only was the message recorded, but her conversation on the first call was as well at the same time.
