Hello all! I recently acquired a Pacific Bell payphone from a friend for $20, and admittedly I know nothing about these devices. This particular unit was covered in mud and who knows what else! I have since cleaned the entire phone from top to bottom. Unfortunately, the circuit board inside was corroded and the battery was rusted. I purchased a replacement PCB, that seemed to have the same model numbers on it, from eBay and installed it. However at this point, I am not sure what I need to do to be able to use this as a home phone. I don't care if it accepts money or not, I would just it to be able to send/receive calls. Does anyone have any advice on how I can accomplish this with the current hardware? I figured that worst case, I could install a home touch tone phone inside and wire it up. I have added a link below that has photos of my phone. Thank you!
