I have an install coming up where they presently use a KSU that "does not" detect "battery" on CO (trunk) ports. They use it for a gate controller (trunk also presently allows DTMF sent as well as doesn't detect CO battery)
I thought I'd done this before on the systems listed above. (but can't find any notes in our database)
My question: Does anyone know how to use a trunk port for this purpose? (required programming)
I'd need the trunk port not to busy out when off-hook with no battery...and...when off-hook send DTMF tones at that time.
I'm still looking but thought one of you might have already run in to this.
