We have a KX-TDA50 with a TVS50. What is the difference between using the management console to edit the system settings vs using a telephone and hitting PGM * # (password) and setting up there. I don't know why Panasonic lets such ignorant people install phones for them. The only reason I need an installer at this point because he has that management console, but I really hate dealing with this guy. IP: Logged |

the reason for the maintanance consol is time its a lot easier than the phone 2. panasonic dont supply these guys they only train them 3. if you dont like your installer then dump him remember you pay him... there are lots of nice guys like myself HA HA who when getting paid to do a job are always nice to the customer & if a customer doesent like us we dont work...if you update your profile i am sure it wont be long before you have a list of installers willing to sort your system for you .... peter IP: Logged |

polyhedron, There are a few program options that can only be done through the laptop with the software but most can be done through the admin phone. If your unhappy with your dealer then you should let Panasonic know. I'll be happy to provide you with a customer service # and you can request the local Rep call you. Have you made your concerns aware to the management of this company? Maybe they can send out a different Tech.? IP: Logged |

Hi polyhedron, You can freely obtain software, drivers and manuals for the KX-TDA range from http://download.panasonic.co.uk/bts/ The maintenance console that works with the KX-TDA30 model is version 1.1 which you can download from http://download.panasonic.co.uk/bts/30/V11/tda30pcprogv1104R3.exe Hope this helps!
